Jason Overman, DVM

Dr. Jason Overman, our Chief of Staff, joined the Springfield Animal Hospital veterinary team in October of 2010. Dr. Overman received a BS degree in Animal Science with a minor in Nutrition from North Carolina State University in 2004 and a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from North Carolina State University in 2008. Dr. Overman's professional interests include small animal internal medicine, dermatology and ophthalmology.

He is an active member of the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA). Dr. Overman has also become USDA accredited, which allows him to administer international health certificates for pets. Outside of the hospital, Dr. Overman enjoys the company of his very demanding cat named Luxie, playing racquetball, kayaking, and traveling. He is also a licensed judge for the National Pygmy Goat Association and attends shows throughout the country.
