Grace Oldfield, DVM
Dr. Grace Oldfield grew up in Columbia, Maryland and currently lives in Northern Virginia. She received a BS degree from the University of Delaware and a DVM degree from North Carolina State University.
Dr. Oldfield wanted to be a veterinarian for as long as she can remember. She grew up around dogs and horses, and began working with dairy cows and poultry in college. Prior to becoming a veterinarian, she has worked as a veterinary assistant for Vet Pets practices in the Raleigh-Durham area, a surgery assistant at the NC State Veterinary Teaching Hospital, and a calf manager and milker at the UD Dairy.
Dr. Oldfield's special interests include integrative medicine, acupuncture, internal medicine, and behavior. She is a certified Veterinary Acupuncturist, having received her certification from the Chi Institute in Reddick, Florida in May 2016. In her spare time, she enjoys horseback riding, baking, and hiking with her black lab, Peanut.
