About the Role

Springfield Animal Hospital is a well-established, fast-paced veterinary practice dedicated to providing compassionate, high-quality care to pets and exceptional service to their owners. Our team is friendly, supportive, and passionate about animals—and we’re looking for a receptionist who shares those values to join us at the front desk!

As the first point of contact for our clients, the receptionist plays a key role in creating a positive experience. We’re looking for someone who is warm, professional, organized, and able to multitask in a busy environment. If you love animals and enjoy helping people, this could be a great fit for you!

Key Responsibilities:  

• Greet clients and patients in a welcoming and professional manner
• Answer multi-line phones and schedule appointments
• Check clients in and out, and process payments
• Maintain accurate client and patient records
• Communicate with veterinary staff to ensure smooth patient flow
• Assist with various administrative tasks and light cleaning duties

Requirements: 

• Previous experience in customer service or front desk preferred (veterinary or medical setting is a plus!)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Comfortable with computers and practice management software (training provided)
• Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
• Love of animals is a must!
